In these days of super efficiency, support workers who are able to solve problems with networks and PC's, and give daily assistance to users, are indispensable in all areas of the economy. Our requirement for better technically qualified people grows, as society becomes consistently more dependent upon PC's in the twenty first century.

If you're like many of the students we talk to then you've always enjoyed practical work - the 'hands-on' individual. Typically, the unfortunate chore of reading reference guides can be just about bared when essential, but you really wouldn't enjoy it. Consider interactive, multimedia study if books just don't do it for you. If we're able to involve all our senses in the learning process, then the results are usually dramatically better.

Programs are now found in disc format, so everything is learned directly from your own PC. Video streaming means you can watch instructors demonstrating how to perform the required skill, with some practice time to follow - in an interactive lab. Every company that you look at must be able to demonstrate some samples of the type of training materials they provide. You should hope for instructor-led videos and a variety of interactive modules.

It's unwise to opt for on-line only training. With highly variable reliability and quality from the ISP (internet service provider) market, it makes sense to have disc based courseware (On CD or DVD).

Most people don't even think to ask about something that can make a profound difference to their results - how their company breaks up the physical training materials, and into what particular chunks. Trainees may consider it sensible (when study may take one to three years for a full commercial certification,) for many training providers to send out one module at a time, as you pass each element. Although: With thought, many trainees understand that their providers usual training route isn't the easiest way for them. You may find that a slightly different order suits them better. Perhaps you don't make it inside of the expected timescales?
